DESCRIPTION:Really Pleased to have James Bennett in Marlo on Friday April 12th. James  incorporates many different elements into his performances including Weissenborn Lap Steel\, 11 & 6 string guitars\, stomp box\, foot tambourine\, harmonica & a very unique vocal style. \nWith Lyrical Influences of Paul Kelly & Bob Dylan & a guitar style inspired by John Butler & Xavier Rudd\, a James Bennett performance is ultimate blend of these artists. James creates an emotional but energetic experience for the listener & you will not be disappointed! \nOver the years James has warmed up the stage for much loved Australian artists such as The John Butler Trio\, Diesel\, Jeff lang\, The Whitlams\, Wendy Matthews\, Ian Moss\, The Black Sorrows\, Vika & Linda Bull\, Rick Price & Dan Sultan. This impressive list also extends to some well know international artists like Newton Faulkner (UK) & Canned Heat (USA). \nJames has independently recorded & released two E.P’s & a two albums. The second album titled ‘Run with the Hunted’ (released in 2017) was recorded in Hollywood CA with highly respected Producer/ Engineer Scott Campbell who has worked with & recorded industry names such as Alanis Morissette\, Stevie Nicks & Tom Petty. \nJames is currently working on his third studio album set to be released in mid 2019 featuring ex John Butler Trio Drumer/ Percussionist Michael Barker & Mike Rix on Upright Bass. \nWill be another great gig in The front bar at Marlo
